The Public Transport Users’ Committee for Wales (Abolition) Order 2014
EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order abolishes the Public Transport Users’ Committee for Wales, established under article 3 of the Public Transport Users’ Committee for Wales (Establishment) Order 2009 by virtue of sections 8 and 9 of the Transport (Wales) Act 2006.
No regulatory impact assessment has been prepared in respect of this instrument as no cost to the business or voluntary sector is foreseen.

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the National Assembly for Wales by sections 8 and 9 of the Transport (Wales) Act 2006([1]), and now vested in them([2]) make the following Order:
Title, commencement and application
1.—(1) The title of this Order is the Public Transport Users’ Committee for Wales (Abolition) Order 2014 and it comes into force on 15 April 2014.
(2) This Order applies in relation to Wales.
Interpretation
2. In this Order—
“the 2009 Order” (“Gorchymyn 2009”) means the Public Transport Users’ Committee for Wales (Establishment) Order 2009([3])
Abolition of the Public Transport Users’ Committee for Wales
3.—(1) The Public Transport Users’ Committee for Wales established under article 3 of the 2009 Order is abolished; and
(2) the 2009 Order is hereby revoked.
